Holmgard Games was established in mid-2020 when a team of like-minded veterans in the gaming industry, who had worked on hit titles such as League of Legends, Call of Duty, Last of Us, and World of Tanks, fueled by our love for gaming came together to create a game that would encompass all of our experience as developers and gamers. Our passion and purpose have driven some of us to create games for the last two decades, and there's nothing else in the world we'd rather be doing.
Creating a game is a blend of art, the entertainment industry, cutting-edge technologies, and magic that keeps players coming back to your world again and again. Our task as developers is to push the boundaries of the gaming industry and bring something new to the table, drawing on our past accumulated experience to create games that will bring hundreds of hours of fun to millions of players.
Game
Our first project is a realistic online first-person extraction shooter being developed on the Unreal 5 engine for the PC as the main platform, as well as for Xbox/PS5. The game combines PVP and PVE mechanics, providing an equally enjoyable experience for both solo players and PVP enthusiasts. If you are a fan of extraction shooters like Stalker and Escape From Tarkov, hopefully you’ll find that we’re elevating the genre.
